We are pleased to announce that Sue DeWine recently joined R. H. Perry & Associates after more than 40 years in higher education.

Sue has had a successful career in academe with extensive experience as an administrator, fundraiser and communication consultant. She was a full professor and consultant to industry in a large public institution and Provost and President at two small private colleges. Her expertise is academics.

Dr. DeWine became the 15th president of Hanover College in 2007. During her tenure, freshman enrollment increased by 40 percent, and student diversity soared from four percent to 15 percent in the incoming classes. Overall enrollment increased by 20 percent.

Hanover launched the Live Our Loyalty Campaign to enhance students’ experiences: academic distinctiveness, outdoor athletic facilities, study abroad, energizing social life, and increased scholarship support. At its completion the campaign had brought in more than $55 million in philanthropic assets, and several facilities were renovated or completed.  She used her extensive communication background to build stronger relationships between the administration and faculty, staff and students, adding two non-voting faculty members and two non-voting students to the Board of Trustees. For that effort, she earned the 2008 Shared Governance Award from the Indiana American Association of University Professors. She retired in 2015 as President-Emeritus. Read more - - -
